When we previously visited the beautiful island of Crete, we became friends with Tassos, the owner of Milia Retreat.

It was our wish to have our wedding there. We thought we could plan our own wedding and arrange everything ourselves. We did overestimate this idea and came in contact with Weddings by Margreet.

We were delighted to discover that Margreet could also arrange for an English speaking Celebrant who could perform the ceremonies for us. Accordingly, we had a meeting with her to discuss all the details.

The English-speaking Celebrant, Mr. Bekker really wanted to know all about our love story and managed so well to put this into a nice story to listen to. The family and friends could all sit at the amphitheatre in Milia on stone steps to see the ceremony from close-up in a very intimate atmosphere.

We had our dream wedding and loved the ceremony by our wedding celebrant that made it so personal.The dinner setting was fantastic and the organization was perfectly taken care of.
